All You Need To Know About Luxury Motorhome Hire & Rental in Scotland
Freewheelin’ understand that sometimes questions come to you at inopportune moments, like when awoken at 3am by the neighbour’s dog, and by the time morning comes they are forgotten. For this reason, and to prepare you as much as possible for planning your trip we have put together some frequently asked questions which should cover everything a novice right up to a seasoned professional might want to know.
How do I make a booking?
Use the email form (or telephone if you prefer) to request the dates you would like. We will confirm the availability and ask you to fill out an online booking form and send it to us along with the deposit (£100 per week of hire).
How do I hire the motorhome?
Please read our terms and conditions for full understanding, basically check availability, complete booking form, pay deposit on confirmation, balance due two weeks before commencement of holiday. A security deposit of £500.00 to be paid to our bank or on credit card, refundable on safe return of vehicle.
Is there VAT to be added?
VAT is included in the price quoted.
How many people can travel in the motorhome?
There are seats with fitted seatbelts for four persons.
Where can I park overnight with the motorhome?
The beauty of a motorhome is the freedom you have to choose where you want, a camp site however is probably best to provide you with electricity, fresh water, waste disposal etc. There are plenty of small sites as well as large ones, check the caravan club webpage for sites in the area.
How can I pay?
We accept cheque or credit/debit card. If paying by cheque it must be paid at least seven days in advance to ensure bank clearance.
Do I get my money back if I need to cancel?
You can cancel up to six weeks before arrival, any time after this period you will lose any money paid unless we can re-hire it for the period.
